National Barbecue Week and the Cinders Barbecue Social Media Launch

Last week was #NationalBBQWeek which just so happened to coincide with the launch of our new social media pages on Twitter and Facebook. Coming into June it’s our busiest time of year and in line with the recent updates to our web site what better way to show the world the great work we do here at Cinders Barbecues HQ. We’ve been supplying barbecues across the UK and indeed the world for over 30 years now. If we are guilty of anything it’s not shouting loudly about how good we are. That said our humble approach is truly a reflection of our personality and culture. We quietly go about producing what we and our clients see as the best quality barbecues on the market. Our Managing Director Bill Cooke started the business just over 30 years ago whilst working for British Gas. They set their staff a design challenge to create a barbecue for a charity event. Bill’s design won and it was soon patented. The name Cinders comes from the Cinderella story of being whisked from a humble design brief to national recognition overnight. Today our staff are viewed formidably across the industry. We supported the Gas Barbecue Association with a Technical Officer during the critical phase of European Gas Appliance Directive implementation and input to the formation of BS EN 498 through the mandatory system of industry consultation. Furthermore we were the only manufacturer on the European Rental Association panel which revised their LP gas safe Code of Practice.

So where would you see a Cinders Barbecue?

Well, a Cinders Barbecue might not be the sort of barbecue dad fires up on the first hot weekend of summer, that’s for sure. Our barbecues are industrial standard and are made to handle high volumes of customers at any time. You may have seen us at the Glastonbury festival, at National Trust events or maybe in a Hilton, Marriott or Radisson hotel. We supply to some of the biggest names in industry and the trust placed in our products is second to none. In fact you might have even seen us on the telly; last year a Cinders Barbecue was used on Junior Master Chef.

What can you expect from our Twitter and Facebook pages?

We are looking forward to a hot summer so what better way to keep you informed than by providing regular hints, tips and advice for barbecuing. We’ve got a library of recipes waiting along with some video guides and advice on how to maintain your barbecue. We’ll keep you up to date with industry news as well as what is going on at Cinders Barbecues HQ. In the meantime if there’s anything you want to know get in touch. Feel free to Tweet us or send us a message via Facebook. We look forward to hearing from you.
