Summer comes to an end, the Planning Begins

As October starts we come to the end of traditional barbecue season here in the UK. Fortunately those of you who have one of our Slimfold Grills will know just how easy it is to clean down your barbecue and store it away ready for next year.

What a Year

For most of the country, the summer itself was a bit of a washout. It wasn’t really until later on that we started to get what could be considered consistent good days, however that didn’t stop so many of you getting outdoors and having a barbecue. Come rain or shine when it comes to summertime we’ve waited long enough to get the barbecues out so nothing will stop us. This summer we made our first foray onto social media and we’ve been over the moon with the response from clients, suppliers and friends connecting with us. We hope to speak to you more over the coming years and look forward to following your businesses too.



At this time of year we get busy preparing for a number of the events that we are involved with over the autumn, winter and spring. During the 22^nd and 23^rd of September Bill and Andrew from Cinders HQ attended the Hire Convention in Loughborough. The event allowed us the chance to meet many new faces and connect with some old friends, and the ‘Navigating Your Future’ Theme was certainly insightful.

Coming Up

The 14^th of October sees the start of the annual Pub Goers Conference – should be a great event! On the 21^st and 22^nd of October we’ll be at the Showman’s Show, always a terrifically exciting event for the outdoor events sector, we can’t wait. Adrian and Ryan from the team will be there on Stand 243, alongside Calor. In the New Year we look forward to once again exhibiting at Hotelympia from the 29^th February to the 3^rd of March 2016. Hotelympia is one of the biggest events within the foodservice industry and next year’s event is sure to be another cracker. As our business continues to grow we look forward to the rest of the year and looking at new opportunities for the business. Now is still a busy time for some of our other products such as the outdoor heaters. Many pubs, restaurants and public spaces are interested in finding new ways to keep clients comfortable at this time of year so our outdoor heaters remain a popular choice. Furthermore at this time of year many clients are looking at maintaining their barbecues and so spare parts from our online shop are in demand. So as summer season comes to an end remember we are still here and as you start to plan for next year think about how a barbecue can help you strengthen great relationships with your customers.
